Deepak Bhawnani, CEO & Managing Director

Deepak began his career with in the Risk Consulting industry in 1987 with a US headquartered international company, and since then, worked on a wide range of business investigations and intelligence assignments out of London, New Delhi and Hong Kong.

In 1994, Deepak was assigned to Hong Kong. In early 1996 Deepak moved to New Delhi to set up office in India. In 2001 he was asked to return to take a greater role in the Asian region.

In 2003 he returned to India to set up Alea International Consulting Pvt. Ltd.

Deepak has extensive experience of over two decades in reputational due diligence analysis, fraud investigations, international asset searches and security consulting. He designs case strategies and develops senior information sources. He remains actively involved in high-profile and sensitive assignments.

Deepak has been a frequent speaker to Chambers of Commerce and other industry associations in Hong Kong, India and Japan. He is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the American Society for Industrial Security.


Shan Pahwa

Shan is a qualified Chartered Accountant in India and holds a Bachelors degree in Commerce from Delhi University. He has been in the corporate investigations field in India since 1999. He is Fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi.

Shan has extensive experience with his accounting background in both the financial and commercial sectors with broad exposure to issues affecting business risks in emerging markets. Amongst many accomplishments, Shan's audit investigations led to the discovery of a protracted theft of funds from a US multinational based in India.

In others Shan has worked with the law firms involved in weighing and presenting investigative findings in order to support subsequent litigation strategy.


Ajay Gupta, Vice President- Business Development
Ajay is an alumni of the Institute of Hotel Management, Pusa, New Delhi and is a graduate from Osmania Universitty.

He has experience of more than two decades in the hospitality and tourism sectors with leading International hotel and travel companies in the country. Ajay was Vice President at Kuoni Destination Management and prior to that Director of Marketing with Hyatt Regency, Delhi. Ajay has interacted with a wide spectrum of clients and has over the years provided customised solutions.

He brings a wide knowledge base and expertise within India, which is greatly beneficial to clients wishing to understand issues related to doing business in India.


Vivek Bhojwani

Vivek has worked across functional areas in Business Development, Marketing and Information Technology in India since 1991. He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the Fore School of Management, Delhi and has a Bachelors in Mathematical Statistics from Delhi University.

Vivek has extensive experience while with American Express & Sodexho Pass. His experience in the financial, marketing and online world allow him to understand client needs.


Pranav Anand

Pranav is a Certified Digital Forensic Examiner, he has received training in London and is EnCase Certified (EnCE) and is also a GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner(GCFE)

Pranav has been actively involved in the field of Information Technology, and is well versed in computer languages and various aspects of data management including data integrity and security. He has been closely associated with research and execution of sensitive matters relating to data theft and devising, formulating and installation of security safeguards.

Pranav is an Alumni of Delhi Public School and previously worked with Wipro in India.
